Oviedo would consider Manchester United move
Bryan Oviedo – Costa Rica
FC Copenhagen full-back Bryan Oviedo admitted he would consider a move to Manchester United if they were to put in a bid for him.
The 22-year-old has impressed in his performances for the Danish side which have lead to rumours of a possible transfer to the Premier League this summer.
United are reportedly in the market for a left-back to provide competition for Patrice Evra, with Everton’s Leighton Baines also being heavily linked.
Oviedo revealed he was flattered to see his name being touted as a target of the Red Devils and believes the speculation will drive him to improve as a player.
“I was very proud the first time I saw my name in the English newspapers regarding interest from Manchester United and it made me even more motivated and determined to improve as a player,” Oviedo told bold.dk.
“It is very important for my career that the big teams know who I am.
“At the moment I’m happy to stay in Copenhagen, where my home is, but I have to seriously consider my options if I get an interesting offer.
“I have to decide what is best for my family and me.”
